Eva Redamonti - Artist

Eva is an artist who depicts drawings that blend realism with fantasy, through movement and detail. She mainly works with India Ink on paper. Music has a great influence on Eva’s artwork. She uses it as a strong source of inspiration for her ideas and relies on it’s effect towards her art’s overall movement. Eva has been playing music since she was ten and began writing her own music later on in her career. Born and raised in Connecticut, Eva went on to pursue music at Berklee College of Music in 2013. She lives and works as both an artist and musician in Brooklyn, USA.

A Cafe Royal Cultural Foundation NYC 2019 fall visual grant has been awarded to Eva to help with the future installation of her solo exhibition in January 2021 project “What Happens at Night” in NYC at the Equity Gallery.

The “What Happens at Night” exhibition will showcase Eva’s journey in the arts from the visual to the auditory, and aims to show how they interact with one another, including a presentation of her visual 2D art, her mural work, her animation and her music.

In this week-long showcase, Eva’s goal is to bring the viewer deeper into her conceptual work by giving them a chance to see the 2D work in plain sight, see it come to life in animation on a screen, and to hear the music that was born from it.

My visual work was born out of musical inspiration, I want to weave my two passions together.
